Discover the superfood that increases sexual desire and slows aging.

Healthy lifestyle habits such as regular physical exercise combined with eating some foods can be beneficial to increasing libido

Superfoods are all those that have a very interesting nutritional value for health due to their high concentration of vitamins, antioxidants, or healthy fats. Some can even act as aphrodisiacs and enhance sexual desire.

The libido is not always at its best, there are streaks in which it decreases. In fact, in Spain, according to estimates from the Epidemiology of Male Erectile Dysfunction (EDEM) study, 19 percent of men between the ages of 25 and 70 have some degree of erectile dysfunction.

In the same way, the Spanish Federation of Sexology Societies (FESS) points out that, in the case of women, it is estimated that around 12% may have some type of sexual alteration throughout their lives.

The World Health Organization (WHO) considers sexual health as a fundamental aspect of the general well-being of people but, for it to be carried out, sexual desire must exist. In this sense, food plays an important role, but it is not the only one. You also have to maintain healthy lifestyle habits such as exercising regularly, sleeping properly, and avoiding stress.

Açaí, a key food to stimulate sexual desire

Açaí is a superfood that is gaining more and more popularity around the world. Coming from the açaí palm tree, native to northern South America, it is a small purple berry that has a large number of beneficial properties for health. Among them, its aphrodisiac character stands out it is known as ‘ natural viagra ‘. This is thanks to its high energy value that provides vitality and can help increase libido. In addition, this fruit acts by improving the fluidity of blood in the body, which is why it is widely used to combat erectile dysfunction or lack of sexual desire.

The most popular way to take these berries is in the form of an açai bowl, which consists of serving the fruits whole or crushed in a bowl accompanied by other fruits such as strawberries and yogurt or cereals. It can also be consumed in powder, juice, or tablets.

Although it is indeed a food that can help keep the body healthy, it should always be included in a varied and balanced diet combined with the practice of physical exercise, since these are not miraculous.
